Superb and extremely rare art deco sculpture by Jean Verschneider (29 August 1872 – 20 December 1943) of a girl giving out golden apples. This sculpture is particularly rare both for its size and because it is in marble and most of the artist's known work is in bronze. The sculpture is signed by the artist at the base.
