Superb romantic inkwell by Henri Edmond Becker (1871 - 1971), renowned French medalist, Susse Frères foundry, circa 1910. Superb detailed decorations of foliage, ribbons, flowers and palms whose patterns we can recognize throughout his works.
The inkwell is in excellent condition with patinas of time. The marble base is in good condition with a loss at one corner and a small loss at the foot below.
