Sublime and rare antique ceramic clock from the Gien manufacture with a dial by a watchmaker that worked at 50 Faubourg Saint Honoré in Paris. Exquisite Renaissance style dial details. The clock is in the form of a "trianon" with a pediment supported by pilasters decorated with ovals. The decorations have shades of pink, blue and green, scales, rococo style frames and garlands of flowers.
The clock bears the Gien manufacture's three tower stamp indicating its production date around 1866. It is also numbered 14 by hand.
Everything is in very good condition with a small chip on one foot. The inner movement of the clock is not working and needs service. It can be repaired in Paris at the buyer's cost.
