Sublime service of 18 Art Nouveau plates, 15 medium and 3 large, from the private collection of French architect Rohault de Fleury, late XIXth century. (certified by auction house bill of sale)
Handmade craftsmanship, surely unique, might have been done by the architect. One plate has a small character design on the back. The plates have a varied decoration of plants, vines and flowers, some in duplicate / very similar decorations. All the different models are listed in photos
In good general condition. Chips on the decorations and plates, a plate with a firing error on the earthenware decorations (the red one seen in the photo), all bear the marks of a load bearing at the back during their firing in the oven.
